The Artist Behind the Chair

Meet Katy

Katy made her way to Image Studios via Tennessee, where she discovered her love for hair and make-up after high school. She left Titan territory and followed her passion to Myrtle Beach, where she completed her cosmetology education — excelling in her studies and participating in multiple international competitions.

After 25+ years of experience, Katy has honed her specialty in the areas of coloring, shaping, and make-up artistry, producing some of the freshest looks on the Grand Strand.

An appointment with Katy at Beautifully Shattered Salon begins with a thorough consultation where different looks, styles, and attitudes are discussed. She ensures that every client leaves happy and looks their very best.

Services

• Tips are always appreciated, never required. • All color service prices include a K18 molecular repair treatment, any color additives, and a haircut. • Subtract $50 if you do not want a haircut with your color services. • Descriptions of services are available using the drop down arrows below.

Consultations

Complimentary consultation is required for all new color clients. I am here to help you achieve your hair goals, so let's make a plan together!

Cuts & Styling

Relaxing shampoo, then a blowout to add volume and shine! Also, any heat styling preferences included, such as flat ironing or adding curls and waves!
Bangs only! Quick trim on dry styled bangs. Not an appointment for a full fringe trim. Book a quick cut for that option! 20-minute appointment time.
This is a dry shaping cut that would include men's cuts, fringe cuts, and dusting off the ends on clean hair for women. Not the appointment to make if you need a change or if you are cutting off a lot of length. Shampoo and style not included. 30-minute appointment time.
This is the service for you if you want to fully transform your look with a precision cut to take off length or give you a change! Starts with a relaxing shampoo, ends with a personalized style. K18 treatment included if needed. One hour appointment time.

Single Color

This service is for single colors only, such as regrowth retouches, face frame hilites, base breaks, toners, or glazes, etc. No foils. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Two hour appointment time.
This service is for full color from roots to ends or root retouch with a toner or glaze. No foils, single color only. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. K18 treatment and all color additives included. 2½ hour appointment.

Dimensional Color

This service is for some face framing or accent foiling that includes hilites and/or lowlites. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. Two hour appointment time.
This service is for a half hilite and/or lowlite, or accent hilite/lowlite with a color in between or toner/base break after. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. 2½ hour appointment time.
This service is for a full hilite and/or lowlite, or half hilite/lowlite with color in between or toner/base break after. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. Three hour appointment time.
This service is for a full hilite and/or lowlite with color in between or toner/base break after. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Minus $50 if you skip your haircut. 3½ hour appointment time.

Specialty Color

This service includes it all! Full hilite/lowlite with color in between or base break along with a toner. K18 treatment and all color additives included. Minus $50 if you skip your cut. 4 hour appointment time.
This is the service that includes it all! Color corrections, vivids, double processes, balayage, lived in, air touch, you name it, I'll create it! K18 treatment and all color additives included. Toner included if needed. Minus $50 if you skip your cut. Five hour service time — any additional time is an extra $100 per hour.

Extensions

Extension service using the tape-in method. Start off with a chelation and clarifying treatment to ensure proper application. Followed by a precision trim to blend extensions to natural hair and any style you choose to finish your service! Three hour service time — any additional time will be an extra $100 per hour.

Treatments

Keratin Complex Blowout conditions, softens curls, and eliminates frizz from hair for four to six weeks depending on how often you shampoo! Two hour appointment time. Can be added to a color appointment at a cost of $150.
The choice of a reparative or volumizing mask to restore health and vitality to your hair! Your choice! Blow dry and style to finish.

Confirming Your Appointment

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation request through GlossGenius. Please confirm your appointment as soon as possible — and be sure to complete and sign any waivers included with your confirmation. This helps me prepare for your visit and keeps everything running smoothly for both of us!

Cancellation Policy

I get it — sometimes things come up! Please be mindful that I have a 30% cancellation fee. The appointment must be canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time to avoid charges. If you no-show, you will owe 50% of your scheduled appointment before you are able to reschedule a new one.

Late Arrivals

I offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to ensure every client receives the full attention they deserve. Please reach out to me as soon as possible if you're running behind!

Payments

I accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and mobile digital payments including Venmo and Zelle. Please note that checks are not accepted. Buy Now, Pay Later is also available in-person for bookings between $50–$4,000. Ask about getting approved before your appointment!

New Color Clients

A complimentary consultation is required before your first color appointment — it's my chance to learn your hair history, understand your goals, and build a plan just for you. Simply book a Consultation For Any Service to get started, it's on me!


New color appointments require a $50 deposit at booking, which is applied to your service total on the day of your appointment. Here's how it works:


Cancelled 24+ hours before — deposit is fully refunded.
Cancelled within 24 hours or no-show — deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook.
Rescheduled 24+ hours before — deposit transfers to your new date.
If I have to reschedule you — your deposit transfers, or is refunded in full if we can't find a new time.
